One day in art class, I was lost on what to do next. I wanted to create a sculpture, but I had already done clay and papier-mâché. I had acquired some water balloons recently and thought about using them, but I didn't know how. Then, I had the thought to use a glue gun. The water would draw the heat away from the glue, leaving a form-fitting shell. I then painted glue sticks various colors to make different colors of glue and coated the balloons.
I made this scene because of my own fond memories of my family around the fire pit at night.
