Human Portraits

The first piece is an exploration of the human face in pencil. Two subjects were my roommates, while the others are of interesting stock photos I found online.

The next piece is a charcoal drawing of a live model we had in class. Black charcoal was used for the base, and white charcoal was used for his gray hair.

The third piece is a self-portrait. I used a picture as reference. I used black charcoal for the base, white charcoal for highlights, and brown charcoal for my hair.
